Emirates launches student fare discounts with extra baggage until March 2027
Offer covers more than 140 destinations for study and leisure trips
DUBAI – Emirates has introduced a new student travel offer, giving eligible passengers discounted fares, additional baggage allowances and flexible booking options on flights across its global network.
The promotion is available to students aged between 16 and 31 travelling for education or holidays. Eligible bookings must be made by March 31, 2027, using the promotional code STUDENT.
The Dubai-based airline said the offer applies to travel across more than 140 destinations. Students can receive discounts of up to 10 percent on Economy Class fares, while Premium Economy and Business Class passengers can save up to 5 percent on eligible tickets.
Added benefits
Students booking under the promotion can also enjoy an additional 10kg baggage allowance or one extra checked bag, depending on the baggage policy for their route. Emirates said standard baggage allowances will continue to apply on flights travelling to or from the United States and Canada.
The airline is also providing greater flexibility for students whose travel plans change, allowing eligible passengers to amend their bookings under applicable conditions.
Eligibility rules
To access the offer, travellers must be members of Emirates Skywards and present a valid student identification card or a school acceptance letter during check-in. Parents or guardians can enrol students aged 16 or 17 in the loyalty programme, while those aged 18 and above can register independently.
Eligible Skywards members will continue to earn Miles that can be redeemed for future flights, cabin upgrades, excursions and duty-free purchases. They will also have access to Emirates' complimentary onboard Wi-Fi services, including unlimited messaging through supported chat applications.
Separately, Emirates recently expanded its payment options by partnering with Crypto.com, enabling eligible UAE residents to pay for bookings on emirates.com and the Emirates App using Crypto.com Pay. The service is available for flights priced and settled in Emirati Dirhams and is processed in line with UAE regulatory standards.
